5K Poker Run/Walk

Our main event for the spring semester is the annual 5K Poker Run/Walk, sponsored by the Kinesiology Club, University Health Services, and the Wisconsin Wellness Campaign. The Poker Run is a fun run where 3 cards are drawn at the beginning of the race and 2 cards are drawn at the end of the race and whoever has the best poker hand, wins! People of all skill levels and age groups are encouraged to participate, because it is the person with the luck of the draw, not the fastest time that wins. This event is open to everyone – undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and community members.
