Description
Shirin Vossoughi studies the social, cultural, historical, political and ethical dimensions of learning. As the daughter of Iranian immigrants, she is also personally invested in studying and developing educational settings for youth from migrant, immigrant and diasporic backgrounds.

In this talk, Vossoughi will draw from two social design experiments to discuss politics and ethics as central aspects of human learning. She is an assistant professor of learning sciences at Northwestern University's School of Education and Social Policy.
