Undergraduate Academic Advising

Thank you for your interest in the School of Education! The undergraduate academic advisors are here to support you. Choosing a major or certificate should be a thoughtful and informed process, one that students don’t need to figure out on their own. Advisors can help find the right fit; getting in touch with them early can be very helpful.

Advising services don’t end once class starts; we can assist in choosing courses each semester that help meet your goals, monitor degree requirements and progress to graduation, and help navigate your professional future. The academic advisors are one part of School of Education Student Services; in addition to advising, student services offers support in areas including potential career options, minority-focused recruitment, requirements monitoring, academic policy, and more.

Our advisors are assigned according to a student’s last name. We also have advisors who can address the specific questions of underrepresented students. You can find information below to initiate this conversation.
