The School of Education at UW–Madison is world-renowned for the quality and impact of our research. Our faculty, staff, and students redefine the limits of what’s possible, conducting groundbreaking research and scholarship in the areas of the arts, education, and health. Bolstered by the Wisconsin Center for Education Research — one of the largest and most productive research centers in the country — we encourage our students to initiate and conduct research that makes a difference in the world.
Wisconsin Center for Education Research
The Wisconsin Center for Education Research (WCER) is one of the first education research centers in the world. It has assisted scholars and practitioners to develop, submit, conduct, and share grant-funded education research for more than 50 years.
WCER’s mission is to improve educational outcomes for diverse student populations, impact education practice positively, and foster collaborations among academic disciplines and practitioners.
