The School of Education at UW–Madison is world-renowned for the quality and impact of our research. Our faculty, staff, and students redefine what’s possible, conducting groundbreaking scholarship across the arts, education, and health.
Driving this work forward is the new Office of Research & Scholarship, a collaborative hub dedicated to supporting research efforts across the entire School. Bringing together expertise in grants, research administration, and communications, the office connects scholars with resources, guidance, and services for every stage of the research journey.
From developing proposals to managing complex projects, we’re here to help build a vibrant research culture that informs practice and transforms lives. Explore funding opportunities and learn more about the Office of Research & Scholarship.
Wisconsin Center for Education Research
Research within the School of Education is bolstered by the Wisconsin Center for Education Research (WCER). One of the first education research centers in the world, it has assisted scholars and practitioners to develop, submit, conduct, and share grant-funded education research for more than 60 years.
WCER’s mission is to improve educational outcomes for all student populations, impact education practice positively, and foster collaborations among academic disciplines and practitioners.
