Sophia Chleborad
Credentials: Ed-GRS Fellow

Sophia Chleborad is a dedicated Ph.D. student in School Psychology within the Educational Psychology department. She earned her B.S. in Education and Human Sciences from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2019. Following graduation, Sophia gained valuable experience as an Early Childhood Research Associate at the Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families, and Schools. Passionate about supporting young children and their families, Sophia focuses on ensuring equitable access to high-quality early childhood education and services. Sophia’s research interests center on the early prevention and intervention of social and emotional needs. Her dissertation aims to understand caregivers’ lived experiences supporting the social-emotional competencies of their young children in low-income contexts.
