Angelica Euseary

Credentials: Ed-GRS Fellow

Angelica D. Euseary is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis (ELPA). She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in African American Studies from UW-Madison.
As a journalist, she’s written for The Detroit Free PressMadison365The Cap Times, and The Center for Public Integrity. She published a blog post for UW-Madison’s Public History Project about the history of Black women and safety at the university and throughout the city of Madison. Her research interests include: Black Girlhood Studies; Black Women and Girls in Education; Black Feminism; K-12 School-Community Partnerships; K-12 Leadership; Depictions of Black Educational Spaces/Experiences in Media; Critical Media Pedagogy. She is also a 200-hour certified yoga instructor.
