London Huser

Credentials: Ed-GRS Fellow

London Huser is an Oklahoma native and indigenous Cherokee and Choctaw artist. Her practice explores rurality and poverty; and its influence on human cultural aesthetics, culture, and information. London’s work sets the viewer in a narrative and dialog driven context through an interplay of a multidisciplinary practice; paintings, installation, and performance. Her work challenges societal understanding of rurality through childhood memories and adult perspectives ultimately asking greater questions of gender, poverty, and place in rural community.
