The next in-person Grand Challenges event is a Seed Grant Writing Party Friday, Feb. 1, with breakfast in The Network Office (Education Building, room 145) and support for pre-proposal development — including team formation, editing support, website registration, and team work time. This event runs from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Seed Grants are intended to enable teams to grow an audacious idea, which may take the form of a pilot or stand-alone project. The scale of these projects can be local, state, national, or international, with Grand Challenges awarding up to nine Seed Grants of $75,000 each.

More details about the Seed Grants, including the requests for proposals and review criteria, can be found on this Grand Challenges web page.
