Hora receives grant to study internship programs

Hora is an assistant professor of adult and higher education in the Department of Liberal Arts and Applied Studies, and is an affiliate with the School of Education’s Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis. He is also a research scientist with the Wisconsin Center for Education Research (WCER), and the director of UW–Madison’s Center for College-Workforce Transitions (CCWT), which is housed within WCER.
The grant, for $52,028, will go towards studying students’ experiences with internship programs, primarily at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina and Benedict College in South Carolina.
Hora aims to provide insight s to improve institutional internship programs and access to them for all students.
