Committees

Academic Planning Council (APC)

The APC is one of the School of Education’s two major standing committees that monitor and oversee program planning and development within the School and between departments.

Administrative Council

The Administrative Council is a leadership and advisory committee that addresses campus and Schoolwide issues and policies, strategic plans, and priorities of the School.

Community and Well-Being Committee

The School of Education’s Community and Well-Being Committee (CWBC) helps develop and implement strategic initiatives that promote a sense of community and well-being.

Global Education Committee

The Global Education Committee ensures that the Global Engagement Office meets its goals to support our School in thinking, working, innovating, and partnering with individuals, communities, and groups around the globe.

Programs Committee

The School’s Programs Committee reviews all proposed new courses, new programs, and revisions of existing courses and programs within the School.

Chair’s Council

The chairs of the ten School of Education departments meet monthly with the dean to provide input to policy issues that impact academic departments.

Committee on Academic Staff Issues (CASI)

The School of Education Committee on Academic Staff Issues (CASI) focuses exclusively on issues of concern to academic staff. The CASI represents the School of Education academic staff and provides a forum to identify and address academic staff needs and opportunities.
