The APC is one of the School of Education's two major standing committees that monitor and oversee program planning and development within the School and between departments.
The Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee considers and recommends decisions that promote an equitable and inclusive culture within the School. The general responsibility of this committee is to advise the associate dean for equity, diversity, and inclusion on issues related to equity, diversity, and inclusion for School faculty, staff, and students.
The Global Education Committee ensures that the Global Engagement Office meets its goals to support our School in thinking, working, innovating, and partnering with individuals, communities, and groups around the globe.
The School's Programs Committee reviews all proposed new courses, new programs, and revisions of existing courses and programs within the School.
The chairs of the ten School of Education departments meet monthly with the dean to provide input to policy issues that impact academic departments.
The School of Education Committee on Academic Staff Issues (CASI) focuses exclusively on issues of concern to academic staff. The CASI represents the School of Education academic staff and provides a forum to identify and address academic staff needs and opportunities.
