Julie Causton is being honored as the Distinguished Alumna in Rehabilitation Psychology and Special Education. She will be delivering a Distinguished Alumni Award presentation on Thursday, Sept. 12, titled, “Seven Things the UW–Madison School of Education Taught Me About Life, Career, and Circles.”

Li Chiao-Ping Dance (LCPD) has been approved by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) for a Grants for Arts Projects award of $15,000. The grant will support Phase Two of the “Dirty Laundry” project, a multimedia dance theater work exploring the history of anti-Asian hate, discrimination, violence, and bias in the U.S.

This summer and fall, University Theatre will launch its 2024-25 season with the staging of Tony Kushner’s acclaimed two-part play, “Angels in America.” Widely regarded as one of the most important American plays of the last century, the two-part epic delves into the lives of a diverse group of Americans during the early days of the AIDS epidemic.
