Sofia Vandersluis graduated from UW–Madison last spring with a degree in elementary education and a certificate in educational policy studies. Now, she is a first-year fourth grade teacher at Heritage Elementary School in Waunakee, Wisconsin.

Thomas A. Romberg, a professor emeritus with the UW–Madison School of Education, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2023, in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. He was 90 years old.

Five individuals with ties to the UW–Madison School of Education have been named to the sixth cohort of Morgridge Fellows.
