WCER researcher Matt Wolfgram and the Catholic Multicultural Center were awarded a three-year grant of up to $1.5 million from the Wisconsin Partnership Program for an initiative to study and improve access to culturally appropriate mental health services for members of immigrant and refugee communities in South Central Wisconsin.

UW–Madison junior Bryce Dailey has an eye on a marketing career, with a long-term goal of starting an arts-related business. He wanted to get student artwork in front of a broader audience, so he got creative. The result: an independent, off-campus show focused on building community, especially among undergraduate artists. It’s exactly the kind of thing the university encourages.

Meg Sensenbrenner is the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association’s (WFAA) new managing senior director of development for the UW–Madison School of Education, a role she started on Feb. 9. She is taking over from Betsy Burns, who had led the School of Education’s development team since 2016. Burns has recently accepted the position of WFAA’s vice president and managing group leader for UW–Madison’s schools of Education, Law, and Human Ecology.
