Dance film from UW–Madison’s Sexe to be screened at two festivals

Sexe is a lecturer with the School of Education’s Dance Department. According to her website, Sexe’s work is grounded in intentionality and clarity of movement. Her work has previously been featured in other festivals, like the World Dance Alliance Festival.

The RAD-Midwest Regional Alternative Dance Fest will be taking place March 6-10. This festival, which is a juried event, showcases the best in modern, pre-modern, and contemporary dance. Sexe’s work will be a part of the screendance portion of the RAD festival.

The Wisconsin Film Festival, presented by the UW–Madison Division of the Arts, screens an average of 150 films over eight days every spring. It is the largest university-produced film festival in the nation. This year’s festival will be happening April 4-11.
