Building Capacity for Belonging and Wellbeing in the Workplace (Community Commitments on the Ground)

Tamie Klumpyan

Education Building, Room 245

Community Commitments on the Ground aims to (1) provide concrete examples of how each Community Commitment already exists in the School of Education and (2) identify skills and strategies for promoting or developing each Commitment.

This session will provide participants with the opportunity to engage with colleagues in imagining what must be in place for employees to experience social, interpersonal, and vocational well-being, belonging, and connection in the workplace — Foster Connection & Community.

Tamie Klumpyan (OHR) will facilitate the exploration of what enables people to contribute fully, collaborate effectively, and feel valued as members of a team. Participants will also be introduced to employee learning resources designed to build individual and team capacity for creating workplace cultures and climates that foster belonging and support thriving.
