Latinx Affinity Group to host ‘open dialogue’ discussions Feb. 24 and Mar. 2

The School of Education’s Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (OEDI) invites you to join us for our upcoming Latinx Student Affinity Group Open Dialogue discussions. There will be two discussion options to accommodate different schedules — you may sign up for one or both discussions.

Latinx Affinity Group Open Dialogue flyerOption 1: Wednesday, Feb. 24, 7 – 8:30 p.m.

Option 2: Tuesday, Mar. 2, 3 – 4:30 p.m.

The goals of the open dialogues are to:

  • Provide a space and time for Latinx School of Education students (undergraduate, graduate, professional) to meet each other and establish community;
  • Validate the experiences of all Latinx School of Education students via large and small group discussions; and
  • Identify programming ideas for Latinx School of Education students, by Latinx students.

Please RSVP using this link to receive further information, including the Zoom link to participate (registration will close one hour prior to the event).

Additionally, contact Brianna Leitzelar (Latinx Affinity Committee Graduate Co-Chair) at leitzelar@wisc.edu with any questions regarding the registration process or other event details.
