Nachman earned his PhD from the School of Education’s Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis in 2021. He is currently a postdoctoral research scholar at the Belk Center for Community College Leadership and Research at North Carolina State University.

“I am thrilled to be realizing my dream of becoming a tenure-track faculty member through joining the University of Arkansas community,” said Nachman. “In particular, I will be able to honor my background as a community college scholar (and graduate) through teaching in the Community College Leadership Cohort. This faculty role will enable me to build community college leaders’ careers while concurrently furthering my scholarship, teaching, and service work pertaining to my core interests, including autism in higher education, community college access and equity, and campus climate issues.”

Nachman will begin his new role in fall 2022.
