This contemporary ballet and performance work reflects upon female characters in Shakespeare’s work, incorporating spoken word to display his influence. It features numbers such as “Ophelia’s Divide,” “As You Like It: Rosalind or Rosalind,” and “To Be?,” which showcases two UW–Madison dance alumni, Mary Patterson and Kimi Evelyn. Through Skog’s choreography and dialogue written by the alumni, this Isthmus reviewer finds a “fresh take on Shakespeare’s most famous question.”
