Morgridge Center has a new director in Travis Wright, and a new home

Mark H. directs world premiere of ‘The Mytilenean Debate’

Forward Theater Company’s upcoming world premiere of “The Mytilenean Debate” is directed by UW–Madison’s Mark Hairston (Mark H.), an assistant professor in the School of Education’s Department of Theatre and Drama. Written by poet, award-winning author, and UW–Madison professor Quan Barry, the play raises questions about race, legacy, and the issues couples face as they navigate the world, both together and as individuals.

Kaplan receives IES grant to develop forecasting models for UN Sustainable Development Goals

UW–Madison's David Kaplan, the Patricia Busk Professor of Quantitative Methods in the School of Education's Department of Educational Psychology, received a three-year, $897,000 grant from the Institute for Education Sciences to work on the development of probabilistic forecasting approaches to model trends toward the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.

Tandem Press exhibition offers ‘behind-the-scenes’ view of printmaking process

A new exhibition from Tandem Press, "Behind the Scenes," presents an inside look at a selection of Tandem Press prints and the printmaking materials used in their creation. The exhibition, which is on view through March 19, will coincide with the 2022 Southern Graphic Council International’s (SGCI) printmaking conference that will be hosted by the UW–Madison Art Department in March. 

UW–Madison’s Ladson-Billings receives top honor from Horace Mann League
