OEDI hosting Black Student Affinity Open Dialogue Discussion on Oct. 4

The School of Education’s Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (OEDI) is hosting a Black Student Affinity Open Dialogue Discussion on Sunday, Oct. 4, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., via the Zoom online platform.

The goals for the open dialogue include:

  • Provide space and time for Black School of Education (SoE) students to meet each other and establish community;
  • Validate the experiences of all Black SoE students via large- and small-group discussions;
  • Identify programming ideas for Black SoE students, by Black SoE students;
  • Discuss ways in which the OEDI and SoE can support Black SoE students in their holistic success.

Interested students should RSVP by Friday, Oct. 2, to receive further information, including the Zoom link to participate. If you have questions, please contact Christopher Barnes.
