School of Education student Benjamin Lebovitz receives campus Graduate Peer Mentor Award


UW–Madison doctoral student Benjamin Lebovitz was selected as a recipient of the Graduate Peer Mentor Award at the 2026 Bucky’s Awards Ceremony on April 12. Lebovitz is a PhD student in the School of Education’s Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis (ELPA).

The Graduate Peer Mentor Award recognizes graduate students who demonstrate strong mentorship of undergraduate and/or graduate students, both on and off campus. Recipients are selected for their leadership and impact, with this year’s honorees chosen from a pool of more than 300 applicants.

Bucky’s Awards, hosted by UW–Madison’s Student Leadership Program, honor students who demonstrate leadership, service, and impact across the university community. The ceremony recognizes a range of student contributions, including mentorship, involvement, and campus engagement.
