The Office of Child Care and Family Resources (OCCFR) at the University of Wisconsin–Madison is proud to announce the expansion of the UW–Madison Child Care and Education System (CCES), effective July 1. Three additional accredited, high-quality child care and education centers will join the system: Isthmus Montessori Academy, Middleton Early Childhood Center, and The Playing Field – East.
With these additions, the Child Care and Education System extends further into Madison’s far east and west sides, reaching into Middleton — offering affiliated families more child care options and continued access to priority enrollment. This strategic expansion enhances accessibility for UW families and reflects the university’s deep commitment to excellence and family-centered support.
All providers within the CCES — including three campus centers, nine network centers (including the newest additions), and more than 60 satellite-accredited, home-based early learning programs — are committed to developmentally enriching, accessible care and education.

“This expansion reflects OCCFR’s continued commitment to meeting the evolving needs of UW families through strong partnerships and a shared vision of high-quality child care and education,” said Cigdem Unal, director of the Office of Child Care and Family Resources. “We’re proud to lead efforts that help children and families thrive.”
