UW–Madison faculty members Xueli Wang and Taylor Odle, both members of the editorial board for The Journal of Higher Education, have been honored with the Exemplary Reviewer Award.
Each year, five editorial board members are selected for this honor based on their performance in reviewing manuscripts submitted to the journal.
The selection is made by the associate editors, who evaluate reviews from over 80 editorial board members. The award recognizes reviewers for completing strong, timely, and constructive reviews.
Wang, the Barbara and Glenn Thompson Endowed Professor in Educational Leadership, and Odle, an assistant professor in the School of Education’s Department of Educational Policy Studies, were both recognized for their contributions to the peer review process.
The announcement was made at the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE) General Conference, held in-person in Minneapolis Nov. 20-23.
