A project team that includes students who are pursuing degrees within the UW–Madison School of Education is a recipient of an Emerging Artist Award in this year’s UW–Madison Arts Business Competition. The students’ proposed project, Flow Project Gallery, aims to bring Wisconsin’s water issues to the forefront through art by connecting UW–Madison student artists with water professionals across the state.

This year’s event also included recognition of the inaugural recipients of the School of Education’s Impact 2030 Staff Innovation Awards.

Tandem Press is hosting “Dream House,” a master of fine arts thesis exhibition by UW–Madison student Katelyn St. John, who is a Tandem Press project assistant. St. John’s work depicts her exploration of abandoned architecture. This exhibition features prints that delve into the visual representation of the space between experience and memory.
