Art alumni featured in MOWA 10th anniversary exhibition

The Museum of Wisconsin Art (MOWA) presents “Ten at Ten” as its inaugural exhibition of 2023, kicking off the tenth anniversary of the modernist “Mothership” that is MOWA’s home base in West End, Wisconsin. For this exhibition, MOWA’s curatorial team selected ten artists in the early stages of their careers whose compelling work represents the next generation of artists to watch.

Among these artists are three who are recent graduates of the UW–Madison School of Education’s Art Department. They are: Claire Kellesvig (MFA 2022), Guzzo Pinc (MFA, 2020), and Pranav Sood (MFA, 2020).

“MOWA is delighted to introduce these talented up-and-coming artists to a wider audience,” said MOWA Executive Director Laurie Winters. “We believe these are the artists to watch in 2023 and beyond. Expect great things from them over the next ten years.”

The “Ten at Ten” exhibition is on view through April 9 at MOWA’s primary home at 205 Veterans Ave. in West Bend, Wisconsin. Admission as low as $15 provides unlimited visits for one full year.
