UW–Madison alum Kim featured in report for Columbia’s Teachers College

UW–Madison alumna Woo-Jung Amber Kim was featured in a news article and video profile for Teacher’s College (TC) at Columbia University, where she graduated from the International Educational Development program in TC’s Department of International and Transcultural Studies in 2020.

The Discussion Project releases application for January 2021 trainings

The Discussion Project Virtual is an online training that supports UW–Madison instructors in creating the conditions for equitable, inclusive, and engaging online discussions. It consists of five, two-hour synchronous sessions in Zoom, each preceded by an hour of asynchronous work. To participate in a January 2021 cohort, you must be teaching a spring 2021 course.

Good, Cheng recognized by AERA for excellence in education research

The American Educational Research Association (AERA) announced the winners of its 2020 awards for excellence in education research earlier this summer, and UW–Madison's Annalee Good and Huiping "Emily" Cheng were recognized with top honors. In addition, UW–Madison alumna Adrienne D. Dixon was recognized by AERA with a Scholars of Color Mid-Career Contribution Award.
