UW–Madison’s Erica Turner, an associate professor in the School of Education's Department of Educational Policy Studies, has received an honorable mention for the American Sociology Association’s Pierre Bourdieu Award for the Best Book in Sociology of Education.

UW–Madison’s Kevin Henry, an assistant professor in the School of Education's Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis, has been awarded a Theories of Blackness, Indigeneity, and Racialization in Research to Reduce Inequality in the Lives of Young People Writing Fellowship from the William T. Grant Foundation.

WCER researcher Andy Garbacz and his research team have received a $4 million grant to study the impact of family-school partnership intervention on behavior, practices, and relationships for young students with social, emotional, or behavior concerns. Garbacz is an associate professor in the School of Education's Department of Educational Psychology.
