Due to changing national accreditation standards and an anticipated growth in demand for athletic trainers in the coming years, UW–Madison’s Athletic Training program has successfully transitioned to the master’s degree level and is up and running with two program cohorts.

Shining a light on their work in the classroom, an outstanding 124 student-athletes from UW–Madison's fall sports teams were named to the 2022-23 Academic All-Big Ten Team, as announced by the Big Ten earlier this month. Of these, 20 are students pursuing degrees in the School of Education.
