Art Department’s Annual Open Studio Day returns on Nov. 6

UW–Madion’s Art Department will be hosting its Annual Open Studio Day on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 12-6 p.m.

Annual Open Studio Day flyerThis autumn arts celebration is back after a year hiatus, featuring multidisciplinary work at over 50 artist studios.

The event will showcase the Art Department’s graduate and undergraduate students and include a number of special presentations at various media labs and workshops. Included are special demonstrations and activities hosted by the Glass Lab and the papermaking lab, an exhibition by the neon class in the Art Lofts atrium, and a print display and sale by the student organization Fresh Hot Pres.

Events will take place in the UW–Madison Humanities Building (455 N Park St, 6th and 7th floors) and the Art Lofts Studios (111 N Frances St) in Madison.

This is a great opportunity to meet the artists, see their work, and get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into their working process. All events are free and open to the public!
