CRECE requests proposals for early childhood education research projects

The Center for Research on Early Childhood Education (CRECE), housed within the School of Education’s Wisconsin Center for Education Research, is requesting proposals for research projects focused on the education, opportunities, and well-being of children ages birth through 8 years.

CRECE suggests that research projects address the sites that serve children, the actors in the early childhood community, education-related issues, and/or English learner education. The organization is seeking work with equity-oriented goals that are methodologically strong and have the potential for future funding and/or publication.

CRECE will fund up to two projects for direct costs up to $30,000 each. Funding can be used to pay for PI time, research assistance, tuition remission, materials, or travel.

UW-Madison faculty and research staff are eligible to apply, and must submit proposals in PDF format to Alison Lindner at amstaples@wisc.edu, CRECE project manager, by April 15. For more information about the request visit the CRECE website.
