Lee is named faculty director of The Studio creative arts community

Helen Lee has been named the faculty director of The Studio, UW–Madison’s residential creative arts community for first- and second-year undergraduate students.

Lee is an associate professor in the School of Education’s Art Department. She is an artist, designer, and educator, who holds an MFA in glass from the Rhode Island School of Design and a bachelor’s degree in architecture from MIT.

Lee’s work examines the morphological nature of language through a material-specific practice.
