UW–Madison alumna and award-winning photographer and artist Julie Betts Testwuide is the author of two new books.
“Signs of the Adirondacks” is a photographic documentation of the unique and creative camp and business signs captured by Testwuide on roads throughout the Adirondack Park in upstate New York.
“Pals,” Testwuide’s first children’s book, is an endearing poetry book about childhood friends. Her use of hand-colored photographs creates vintage, nostalgic charm.
Testwuide earned both her undergraduate (BS in education, 1979) and master’s (MS in art, 1981) degrees from the UW–Madison School of Education.
She is a member of the School of Education’s Board of Visitors.
