UW–Madison’s Taekyeom Lee, an assistant professor in the School of Education’s Art Department, was a featured speaker recently at the 2022 AIGA Design Conference in Seattle, Washington, Oct. 20-22.

Lee, who was a mainstage speaker at the conference, presented a talk that is titled,“Tangible Graphic Design,” in which he explored the symbiotic nature between technology and design.
Lee discussed how graphic design has evolved with new technologies, and investigated how various materials used in 3D printing present both challenges and alternative solutions in the graphic design realm.
