Five individuals with ties to the UW–Madison School of Education have been named Morgridge Fellows. They are Moisés Gabriel Contreras (Educational Policy Studies), Morgan Mayer-Jochimsen (Educational Policy Studies), Rachel Santiago (WCER), Emily Skaletski (Kinesiology), and Peter Wardrip (Curriculum and Instruction).

UW–Madison’s Stacey Lee was selected as a 2021 Fellow of the American Educational Research Association (AERA). Lee is the Frederick Erickson WARF Professor in the School of Education's Department of Educational Policy Studies.

Four people with ties to the UW–Madison School of Education — Matthew Hora, Stacey Lee, Bailey Smolarek, and Matthew Wolfgram — are leading a project to further understand and reduce inequalities in higher education among Hmong Americans. The project is one of 15 chosen to receive grants through the through UW–Madison’s Understanding and Reducing Inequalities Initiative.
