Mark your calendars for Saturday, Dec. 17, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. as the School of Education’s Art Department once again hosts its annual Holiday Art Sale at the Art Lofts building (111 N. Frances St.).
This event is free and open to the public, and will feature original pieces of artwork such as prints, cards, ceramics, and glasswork — all made by undergraduate and graduate UW–Madison art students. Student organizations Mad Gaffers (UW–Madison’s glassblowing club) and Fresh Hot Press (UW–Madison’s printmaking club) will also be featured.
In addition to the art sale, a “Blow Your Own Glass Ornament” event will allow people to create their own ornament with the help of glass students. This portion of the event is first come, first served, and has a cost of $50.
