In addition, check out the current exhibition at Tandem Press, hidden figures: unveiling selfhood, guest curated by Teyjhana Barton-Neal, the summer 2023 curatorial intern. Barton-Neal will be a senior at Spelman College this fall and is pursuing her BFA with a double minor in curatorial studios and Spanish. She came to Tandem through a partnership between the IFPDA (International Fine Print Dealer’s Association) and Atlanta University Center Art History + Curatorial Studies Collective that connects undergraduates with curatorial internships around the world.
Barton-Neal’s exhibition explores how our minds perceive and interpret what we experience, with a particular focus on how identity can be witnessed from the outside. The exhibition will be on view through Nov. 10.
