The Office of Campus Child Care and Family Resources (OCCFR), which is administratively housed within the School of Education, is offering a variety of resources for UW–Madison student and staff families that are balancing work and childcare needs this fall due to COVID-19.
OCCFR has identified several options to help families:
- Three UW–Madison campus child care centers (Eagle’s Wing, Waisman Early Childhood Program, and Child Development Lab);
- Six UW–Madison network child care centers (Little Chicks Learning Academy, Bernie’s Place, Preschool of the Arts, Creative Learning, Meeting House, and The Playing Field);
- A partnership with Satellite Accredited Family Child Care Providers to serve UW–Madison families;
- A free premium Care.com membership for current UW–Madison students and staff to help find a caregiver or tutor; and
- A monthly e-newsletter with up-to-date topics to help support you and your family.
OCCFR is also working to create virtual resources and webinars to provide ongoing support for UW–Madison families. Learn more about the range of resources OCCFR is offering, here.
