The Discussion Project invites applications for August in-person sessions


The Discussion Project has released application information for three new sessions opening in Aug. 2021.

The Discussion Project logoTaking place in person, the course will support instructors in designing and implementing discussion for classes of 40 or fewer students. Sessions will take place over three consecutive days, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., in the Wisconsin Idea Room in the Education Building.

Application is open to all UW–Madison instructors, including faculty, academic staff, and graduate students. For full consideration, please apply by May 28.

The Discussion Project is funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and operates within the Wisconsin Center for Education Research, which is housed within UW–Madison’s School of Education. School of Education Dean Diana Hess is the project’s principal investigator.
