Hora is an associate professor of adult and higher education with the Division of Continuing Studies and with the School of Education’s Department of Educational Policy Studies. He is also co-director of the Center for Research on College-Workforce Transitions (CCWT).

According to the CEIA, “Hora has been a prolific mentor with professional research staff, PhD candidates, and master’s students, helping them to evolve into competent, independent PI’s, in their own right.”

The James W. Wilson Award specifically “recognizes outstanding contributions to the promotion and advocacy of research activity in cooperative education… The award is competitively determined and is intended to recognize longstanding contributions to the field both by participating in research activity and providing leadership for others.”

Hora, along with other CEIA award winners, will be honored at CEIA’s Annual Conference April 7-9 in Tampa, Florida.
