UW–Madison’s Erika Bullock, an associate professor in the School of Education’s Department of Curriculum and Instruction, has been selected for the 2026 Wisconsin Women’s Network Policy Institute.

Since 2012, the Wisconsin Women’s Network has worked to increase the number of women in the state who have the skills, confidence, and strategic knowledge to engage in policy issues affecting Wisconsin’s women and girls. More than 300 women have completed its Policy Institute and Accelerated Policy Institute programs.
The Policy Institute offers hands‑on training in leadership, communications, and policy advocacy to 25–30 women each year. Participants come from a wide range of sectors, including nonprofits, academia, philanthropy, labor, and government.
The 2025–26 Policy Institute cohort includes 26 women from communities across Wisconsin. Through a series of four in‑person, two‑day retreats held in Madison, they will receive intensive, intersectional advocacy training.
The group began meeting in January and will continue its work through April.
