Learn about modern dance in this interview with Dance Department guest artist-in-residence Natalie Desch by UW–Madison’s Chris Walker.

Walker is the director of the Division of the Arts and a professor in the School of Education’s Dance Department.

Desch, an assistant professor at the University of Utah School of Dance and a former dancer with the Jose Limón Dance Company, will restage “Dances for Isadora,” a work containing five solos that pay homage to Isadora Duncan, an American pioneer of modern dance, at the Dance Department’s Faculty Concert 2022 from Feb. 3-12.
